Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Physiotherapist to join our team in an on-site capacity at our facility in Cork. The Physiotherapist will evaluate and implement physiotherapy plans for patients with varying needs, monitor their progress, and adjust treatment programs accordingly. Responsibilities include working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, educating patients on rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications, and maintaining accurate therapy records. The role also involves active participation in team meetings to discuss patient care and support clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and custom treatment planning for physical rehabilitation needs
- Expertise in exercises, therapeutic techniques, and wellness education to promote physical recovery and mobility
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills to develop patient confidence and liaise with multidisciplinary teams
- Capability in maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
- Current registration with CORU or an equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in clinical or hospital settings is preferred
- Knowledge of current best practices and advancements in physiotherapy methods
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team dynamics
